Running a session and we did an exercise where people put together their wishlists of the things that they most want AI to do for them at work. I missed a few, but I recorded 21 of them, covering travel booking, expense reporting, payments automation, cybersecurity authorisation and a variety of other tasks.
Then I set Codex to work and asked how many of those tasks *already have a solution that you can buy*. The answer was: 21 of them.
How many of them can you buy for under USD50/month? 19
How many of them have a free source solution? 16.
An open source solution? 15.
The mystery to me is this: why do I have 21 lines in my notes rather than 6, 5, 2 or zero? If it is the top-most problem, and it is already solved, why is it still a problem?

Have AI solutions that you can buy, or non-AI solutions that you can buy?
If non-AI solutions, maybe because these solutions are not good enough? Personally, I have been struggling to find the perfect app to give me insight into my spending. Tried a few, liked none of them.
